Railways of Tasmania’s Wild West – Nick Anchen (9.5/10)

This wonderful book highlights the entire life and, dare I say, death of the railways of the West coast of Tasmania. Covering all the players in the industry across their entire life including the Emu Bay system (my favourite). With a raft of stories and anecdotes from former drivers, firemen and gangers this is among the best book for those interested in this rugged, remote and often wild region of the world.

Well worth the look.
