The first book in the Roads to Moscow trilogy. And even though I read it back to front (since I read the second book first) the quality of the story telling made absolutely no difference. And why should it – it’s a time travel novel after all. So I could start, or finish, anywhere!
But seriously; this is another of Wingrove’s outstandingly good books.
I felt that the second book was better than the first; while I understand that this may be entirely subjective, I feel he’d really gotten into his stride in the second book and expect book three to be just as good.
Really worth the read.
