Wagons of the middle British Railways era – David Larkin (6.5/10)

A good overall book, though somewhat impenetrable for those of us who were not ‘there’ during this period and who don’t love ‘there’ now either.

Lots of photos and a ton of history and details on the make, batch, diagram and other bits of train lore that you pick up as you study the bleed stuff.

Worth a read, but unless you are an avid BR modeller of the mid 1950s to early 1960s period it might be a little too much.
