A girl in time – John Birmingham (9.5/10)

If you’ve followed the blog for a time you might notice that there is a lot of time travel fiction reviewed here. As unlikely as it seems (I keep telling my past self to open the letters for last week’s winning lotto numbers – still haven’t won the darned thing) time-travel makes for fascinating science fiction.

This book is a cracker of a read, and cleverly handled by Mr Birmingham, as its writer. I literally could not put it down and read it front to back in just two sittings. Buy it, read it now, or open the envelope I sent you last week. You know you want to.
